Original Man was born out of our need to take creative control as performers and artists.

 

Let's take back the term 'man' for all humankind - the Original Man is you, me and every audience member fighting for their part in the play. We pledge to seek out ways to make sure we're all involved in the creative process. We look for interesting and flexible ways to make work that works for audiences.

We want to share opportunities with other artists based in the North; champion quality practitioners and create original, fresh and (sometimes) scary pieces with a point to make.
